PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a deviation in a calculation result, occurring in high-resolution processing and obtain an accurate calculation result, since a conventional high-resolution signal processing apparatus can calculate desired specifications, such as, distance and angle with high precision, but involves a large processing load, thereby increasing the cost of memory and arithmetic circuitry at installation, and when arithmetic precision is degraded, cancellation of significant digits and an overflow will occur, causing the solution to deviate from the expectation value.SOLUTION: A received time domain signal is subjected to Fourier transformation into a frequency domain signal by a time-direction Fourier transform unit. From the frequency domain signal, by using a desired signal detected by a desired signal detection unit, a high-resolution processing covariance matrix is generated by a covariance matrix generating unit. The arrival angle of the desired signal calculated by a high-resolution processing unit with the covariance matrix as input is corrected by a correction processing unit, by referring to a correction processing database storing the correspondence between signal-to-noise ratio and a correction value for calculated angle, on the basis of the signal-to-noise ratio of the desired signal calculated by a signal-to-noise ratio calculation unit. |
