PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of starting the execution of processing by immediately reading out a program to be executed while storing programs in a storage means for storing image information.SOLUTION: The most part of the program to be executed by an MPU 181 of a display control device 81 is stored in a character ROM 193 for housing image data. In addition, a NOR ROM 194 is connected to an internal bus connecting the MPU 181 and the character ROM 193, and a portion of a boot program is stored in the NOR ROM 194. Then, after canceling system resetting, the MPU 181 specifies an address assigned to the NOR ROM 194 in the first place for the internal bus and reads out the boot program from a NOR ROM 187d. |
