PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap valve unit which allows a flap valve to be smoothly attached onto a body section without breaking or damaging a pin.SOLUTION: The flap valve unit includes the body section 20, a valve element 40, and a spring member 60; wherein the body section 20 has attachment arms 25A, 25B and a spring mount 35, and the valve element 40 has pivot arms 41, 41 and pins 43A, 43B. Each pin has a pin insertion hole 28, and the attachment arm 25A has a pin abutment portion 30, which temporarily places the pin 43A with the pin 43B inserted in the insertion hole 28 in the attachment arm 25A, and a guide portion 31 extending from the pin abutment portion 30 to the pin insertion hole 28. The spacing between the outer faces surrounding the pin insertion holes in the attachment arms 25A, 25B is formed to be narrower than the spacing between the inner faces of the pivot arms 41 and wider than the spacing between the distal end faces of the pins 43A, 43B. |
