PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymerization toner which prevents deposition of wet cakes on the inner wall of a discharge chute, causing closing of a discharge port while maintaining the operating efficiency of a basket-type centrifugal filter machine.SOLUTION: The method for producing a polymerization toner includes spraying a pressurized gas against a residual layer remaining on a filter cloth, and is such that: (1) an angle (θ) between a line connecting the point where a scraping blade comes into contact with the residual layer and the center point of the rotation shaft of the rotation basket, and a line connecting a point where the pressurized gas comes into contact with the residual layer and the center point of the rotation shaft of the rotation basket, is in a range of 270° or more and less than 360°, with respect to the scraping direction; (2) an angle (θ) between a line connecting the center point of a spray port to spray the pressurized gas and the point where the pressurized gas comes into contact with the residual layer, and a tangential line on the point where the pressurized gas touches the residual layer, is in a range of 20° or more and less than 90°; and (3) before and after discharging wet cakes, a discharge chute is vibrated and/or the pressurized gas is sprayed along the inner wall of the discharge chute. |
