FRAME MEMBER, FRAME ASSEMBLY, AND BATTERY CELL ASSEMBLY AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

Disclosed are a frame member for accommodating a battery cell therein, a frame assembly and a frame/battery cell assembly produced from the frame member, and methods for manufacturing same. The frame member for accommodating a battery cell therein comprises: an integral frame including an outer wall having an attachment face and a cooling face facing the attachment face; and an attachment feature disposed on the attachment face, and a complementary attachment feature disposed on the attachment face which symmetrically faces the attachment feature based on the plane of symmetry of the frame, wherein said outer wall forms an opening having a structure for accommodating the battery cell matingly with the inside of the outer wall. A pair of frame members has cooling members interposed therebetween and attached to each of the attachment faces constituting the frame assembly. The frame/battery cell assembly includes a pair of frame assemblies having at least one battery cell interposed therebetween.
