PURPOSE: A 3D graphic accelerator and a method thereof are provided to perform successive write and read at the same clock by separating input and output port, so as to reduce stall of pipeline. CONSTITUTION: A fragment unit(230) performs one of depth test, a color converting, or stencil operation-alpha test about a current fragment. A dual port cache memory(240) reads information of depth, color, and stencil-alpha corresponding to a current fragment from a frame memory. If a requested information does not exist in dual port cache memory, a cache controller(250) reads a requested information from the frame memory. |
