<p>The present invention relates to an energy-storage system based on an increase in temperature. The system comprises a receptacle that contains a material with a high level of heat-storage capacity, means for providing heat to the receptacle that contains said material, a heat-insulating material that substantially completely covers said receptacle, and means for withdrawing energy in order, when required, to withdraw the thermal energy stored in the material with a high level of heat-storage capacity. By means of this system it is possible to store the energy provided by the heat-provision means in the material with a high level of heat-storage capacity for a required period and, subsequently, to recover said energy by means of the energy-removal means.</p> |
