PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical reactor easy to handle during assembly, and simple to construct for higher durability and reduced running cost, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The electrochemical reactor 10 includes a cylindrical MEA 7 consisting of an anode 2 on the inner face side, a cathode 5 on the outer face side, and a solid electrolyte 1 held between the anode 2 and the cathode 5, a heater 41 for heating up to an operating temperature higher than room temperature, and a coiled metal wire 12 loaded into the inner face side of the MEA for contacting the anode. The coiled metal wire 12 is linearly provided along the inner face of the cylindrical body for contacting the inner face of the cylindrical body 7 at least at the operating temperature. |
