PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator which can be miniaturized and for which maintenance is performed easily.SOLUTION: A static eliminator comprises: a sirocco fan that sucks in air at one side while blowing out the air in a direction perpendicular to a direction of the sucking; a piezoelectric transformer for generating a high voltage; a discharge needle 41 connected with the piezoelectric transformer; and a grounding electrode 42 provided at a distance from the discharge needle 41. The discharge needle 41 is provided whose longitudinal direction is along a direction perpendicular to a direction of the blowing of the air, and the grounding electrode 42 is provided facing a tip of the discharge needle 41 in a longitudinal direction of the discharge needle 41. In addition, the discharge needle 41 and the grounding electrode 42 are held in an insulating unit case 43 to constitute a discharge unit 44 together with the unit case 43. The discharge unit 44 is constructed attachably and detachably along a direction perpendicular to a direction of the blowing of the air with respect to a housing 13. |
