PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine XML data and data supplied from an RDB or CSV file to enable application to a VDP document.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus has a markup language structure displaying section that reads markup language data structure information to display a structure of markup language data, a record level element designation receiving section that receives from a user designation of a record level element which is a record level showing a record unit in the markup language data structure displayed in the markup language data structure displaying section, and a markup language data structure converting section that, in order to apply the markup language data which is based on the markup language data structure information to a document of variable data printing as internal data, converts the record level element to the structure of the internal data per unit based on the record level element designated in the record level element designation receiving section. |
