PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided self-adhesive tape which firmly adheres to an adherend such as plastics and metals, leaves no adhesive deposit and gives no damage on a nonwoven fabric of supporting base without conducting special treatment such as heating when the tape is released after a prolonged period of adhesion.SOLUTION: This double-sided self-adhesive tape has a nonwoven fabric base and a self-adhesive layer composed of an acrylic self-adhesive composition. The nonwoven fabric base is obtained by firmly fixing an acrylic copolymer containing as a monomer component a silyl-containing monomer and having a glass transition temperature not higher than -10°C to a nonwoven fabric having tensile strength of 5-45 N/20 mm. The self-adhesive composition is an aqueous dispersion type emulsion type acrylic self-adhesive composition of an acrylic copolymer containing as monomer components 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, a nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer and a carboxy group-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer. The double-sided self-adhesive tape has a storage modulus of the self-adhesive layer at a frequency of 1 Hz of 6×10to 1×10Pa at 30°C, and can achieve both good adhesivity and releasability. |
