PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily add an extended function, such as a pilot lamp, as necessary, for operation without impairing battery lifetime for fire monitoring.SOLUTION: A residence alarm 10 is configured of a main battery 34 for supplying a power; and when detecting a fire by an event detection part 72 from the detection output of a sensor part 62, an event processing part 74 makes a notification part 64 output a fire alarm. The residence alarm is provided with an auxiliary battery 30 formed to be freely attachable/removable to/from a casing and an extended function part 76 to be driven by the auxiliary battery 30; the mounting of an auxiliary battery 30 is detected by an extended function processing part 82; and a pilot lamp 24 of the extended function part 76 is operated. The auxiliary battery 30 is integrated into the battery storage part of the casing closed by a freely attachable/removable cover. |
