PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily generating gaseous hydrogen and a device therefor which are portable, extremely easily generate gaseous hydrogen, also can adjust the generation amount and generation time of the gaseous hydrogen, and can safely and easily achieve the suction of the gaseous hydrogen as an anti-oxidant, a gaseous hydrogen bath or the like.SOLUTION: A gaseous hydrogen generation composition obtained by adding one or more selected from soda ash powder, calcium oxide powder and calcium hydroxide powder to a metal or alloy powder is stored into a water-permeable bag 1; this is charged to an underwater fixture 3; this underwater fixture 3 is fixed to the bottom part of a vessel 4, and the inside of the vessel 4 is charged with water; thus, by the reaction between the above composition and water, gaseous hydrogen is generated into the water. |
