PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-setting material capable of forming a cured product having high transparency and high refractive index, a method for easily producing the material, and an article having high transparency and a high refractive index.SOLUTION: The photo-setting material is produced by a production process comprising (i) a step to react a polymerizable component (A) composed of one or more kinds of compounds (a) having (meth)acryloyloxy group with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid (B) to obtain a surface modifying agent (C) having a carboxyl group derived from the component (B) on the terminal, (ii) a step to modify the surface of an inorganic fine particle (D) with the surface modifying agent (C) to obtain surface-modified inorganic fine particles (E), and (iii) a step to obtain the photo-setting material containing the surface-modified inorganic fine particles (E), a polymerizable component (F) comprising one or more kinds of compounds (f) having (meth)acryloyloxy group and a photo-polymerization initiator (G). |
