PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus using a solid-state imaging device for dividing and outputting video signals, the imaging apparatus capable of individually setting gain and offset for each of the respective output video signals and capable of appropriately correcting a video level difference between a plurality of outputs, and to provide an imaging apparatus capable of determining a video level difference between the plurality of outputs and a video level difference caused by a contour of an actual object and preventing erroneous correction.SOLUTION: As a method of detecting the video level difference between the plurality of outputs, not the average video level of the boundary part of left and right images but a video level near the boundary is divided into the horizontal direction and acquired, and the video level on a boundary line is predicted. Division is performed in the vertical direction, and from the boundary video level difference of a plurality of regions and the average video level, the correction amount of the gain and the correction amount of the offset are calculated. A contour amount near the boundary is extracted and erroneous correction by the actual contour of the object is prevented. |
