PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying coolant, capable of reducing a burden on a worker in collecting sludge.SOLUTION: The apparatus for purifying coolant includes: a pump for sucking coolant from a coolant tank; a centrifugal separator for separating sludge from the coolant supplied from the pump; and a sludge tank for storing the sludge discharged from a discharge port of the centrifugal separator. In order to collect the coolant included in the sludge tank, the apparatus for purifying coolant further includes: a collection flow path for the sludge tank and coolant; a flow rate detection means of detecting the flow rate of coolant flowing through the collection flow path; and an alarming means electrically connected with the flow rate detection means. When the volume of the sludge in the sludge tank increases, and the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the collection flow path and a detection result by the flow rate detection means becomes a predetermined value or the lower, an alarm of replacement timing of the sludge tank is issued by the alarming means. |
