The machine (100) has a body (150) at which extremities e.g. head (110), neck (111), foreleg (130) and rear leg (140), are movable independent of each other by drive devices. A detection device detects actual position of the extremities, and a control device controls the movement of the extremities. The control device has a computing device for computing movement of the machine. The control device controls each of movement extremities of the extremities from the actual position to a reference position in predetermined time duration. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a controller for controlling movement of a running machine (2) a control method for controlling movement of a running machine.
