PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control charge and discharge of a secondary battery in consideration of the present state of the secondary battery mounted to a vehicle.SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle 1 includes the battery 10-1, a motor generator 32-2 which generates a drive force by using the power of the battery 10-1, a charger 28 which charges the battery 10-1 via an external power supply, and an ECU 40. The ECU 40 stores a prescribed parameter used for a battery model type. The parameter is changed according to the state of the battery 10-1. The ECU 40 collects data related to the state of the battery 10-1 during the travel of the hybrid vehicle 1 and during the charge of the battery 10-1 via the external power supply, corrects the parameter on the basis of the data, and calculates a value of the charge rate (SOC) of the battery 10-1. The ECU 40 controls the charge and discharge of the battery 10-1 on the basis of the calculated value of the SOC. |
