PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal metal fitting that allows a user to determine whether a crimped state is excellent or not even if elongation occurs in wire barrel pieces and each end of a pair of the wire barrel pieces is disproportionately deformed, an electric wire with the terminal metal fitting, and a method for manufacturing the electric wire with the terminal metal fitting.SOLUTION: A terminal metal fitting 20 has a pair of wire barrel pieces 26, 26 for crimpingly holding a core wire 12 of an electric wire on both sides of a substrate 23. An electric wire 10 comprises the terminal metal fitting and an electric wire crimped by the wire barrel pieces 26, 26. A marker 24 is formed before crimping of the electric wire. A reference marker 25 is engraved by an engraving part 31 formed on a crimping die when the electric wire is crimped. The markers are provided on the face opposite to the face holding the electric wire on the substrate 23 of the terminal metal fitting 20. The position of the marker 24 is compared with the position of the reference marker 25 so as to determine whether a crimped state is excellent or not.
