摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of eliciting excellent physiologically active effects by merely subjecting citrus fruit rinds to a simple treatment, resulting in creating the new demand of such citrus fruit rinds and utilizing them; further, to thereby easily produce and provide at low costs medicaments and functional food/drink having excellent physiological active effects.SOLUTION: There are provided a fermented composition obtained by fermenting citrus fruit rinds with koji molds, a fermented composition of the supernatant obtained by the fermentation with koji molds of the fermented composition followed by making a solid/liquid separation; and medicaments and functional food/drink each containing the fermented composition as an active ingredient and having neurite extension effects, memory-ameliorative effects and anti-Alzheimer effects.
