PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the object of providing a device for alerting a driver when a line of cars starts to move while the driver waits for a signal to change at an intersection, waits for a customer, or receives or delivers cargo, as a means to help alleviate the fatigue of taxi, truck and bus drivers driving long hours or general drivers, in view of the fact that they can alleviate or relieve fatigue by closing their eyes on their driver's seat when stopping at an intersection, stopping to wait long hours for a customer, or during waiting time for the receipt or delivery of cargo.SOLUTION: A system for alleviating or relieving driver fatigue notifies a driver in a stopped car of the timing that a car stopped in front (hereinafter referred to as a car in front) has started to move, using light or vibration. The system includes a car-in-front movement detection unit/notification unit and a control unit. The detection unit detects using light, an electric wave or an ultrasonic wave that the car in front has started to move, and the notification unit notifies the driver in synchronism with that timing. The control unit has the functions of starting the system, switching to a red light detection system or a signal waiting time setting system when the car stops at the front, selecting a method of notification of the notification unit, and the like. |
