<p>The present invention relates to a horse-riding exercise apparatus that links the movement of a pedal assembly to the rising and lowering of a seat, to move a rear wheel forward by means of a rider performing the motions of pressing down on pedals with both feet and vertically moving the upper body, such that the rising and lowering of the seat provides the feeling of actually riding a horse. The horse-riding exercise apparatus according to the present invention comprises a structure having a front wheel (11), a rear wheel (12), and a handle (13) mounted onto a truss structure frame (10), respectively, and a pedal assembly (20) and a front sprocket (15) mounted onto a driveshaft (14) disposed at a central, lower portion of the frame (10), wherein the front sprocket (15) is rotated by the driveshaft (14), and the rotation of the front sprocket (15) is transferred via a chain (17) to a rear sprocket (16), in order to drive the rear wheel (12) connected to the same shaft as the rear sprocket (16). When the foot power of the rider is applied to the pedal assembly (20), the driveshaft (14) is rotated in a first stage by the pedal assembly (20), and the driveshaft (14) and a seat (18) are connected by a seat-elevating device (30) and a ratchet handle device (40), so that upon each clockwise rotation of a pedal shaft (22) about the driveshaft (14), the seat (18) is raised by the seat-elevating device (30), and when the seat (18) is raised by the seat-elevating device (30), the ratchet handle device (40) is elevated at the same time, and when the seat (18) is lowered by means of the weight of the rider, the driveshaft (14) is rotated in a second stage by the ratchet handle device (40) connected to the seat (18).</p> |
