摘要 <p>Disclosed are a screen printing device and method for screen printing on the upper surface of a substrate and on the bottom surfaces of recesses formed in the upper surface. The disclosed method and device are capable of printing efficiently whilst ensuring good print quality. A sealed squeegee mechanism (13), provided with a first sliding contact plate (44A) and a second sliding contact plate (44B), is used in screen printing whereby paste is printed onto an upper surface print area, whereupon upper surface electrodes have been formed, and a bottom surface print area, set on the bottom surfaces of recesses and wherein lower surface electrodes have been formed. When the area being printed upon is a bottom surface printing region (12a), paste remaining within the recesses is skimmed off and removed by the first sliding contact plate (44A), located to the rear in the squeeging direction. When the area being printed upon is an upper surface printing region (12b), paste adhering to the upper surface is scraped off by the second sliding contact plate (44B), located to the rear in the squeeging direction.</p>
