The present invention relates to a system and to a method for providing fee-charging information through login by contract. For this purpose, the present invention provides a web server, comprising: a web service-providing means which operates a main website; search function-processing means for extracting and providing information data matching an input query word; free or fee-charging information-checking means for checking whether the information data requested by a user is free or fee-charging information; fee-charging information purchase price-calculating means for calculating the purchase price of the fee-charging information requested by the user; and information-providing means for providing the user with the fee-charging information paid for by the user. Further, the present invention provides a fee-charging information-providing system comprising one or more fee-charging information providers which provide fee-charging information; a portal service system which calculates the purchase price and processes payment information for the fee-charging information through the main website; and a payment system which processes payment for fee-charging information. Further, the present invention provides a method for providing fee-charging information, comprising the steps of: extracting information data matching the input query word from the fee-charging information provider and providing the user with the extracted information data, when an information retrieval request is inputted by he user; calculating a purchase price for the fee-charging information when a request for providing fee-charging information is received; and receiving the fee-charging information paid for by the user from the fee-charging information provider and providing the user with the received information, when the fee-charging information is paid for through the main website.
