PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine not only an abnormality in a combustion system but also an abnormal portion and an abnormal form in a combustion facility.SOLUTION: In a combustion furnace having a plurality of combustion zones of a large number of burners 2 including air preheaters 4 for combustion air controlling a fuel system and a combustion air system by one system, such as a radiant tube furnace 1, temperatures of preheated air and exhaust gas of each of a large number of radiant tubes are detected. By comparing the detection values with a detection average value of the zone, presence/absence of an abnormality, an abnormal portion and an abnormal form of the combustion system are determined. Since the determination of presence/absence of the abnormality, the abnormal portion and the abnormal form of the combustion system in the furnace is permitted, deterioration is prevented, and necessary countermeasures are taken during operation. Maintenance plans are prepared beforehand. Thus, productivity, quality and energy efficiency in the combustion furnace are maintained by the minimum maintenance work at the minimum cost. |
