PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method by which protein stains fixed to a medical appliance is efficiently removed.SOLUTION: The cleaning method for medical appliances includes bringing a treating solution containing (a) monoethanol amine, (b) an alkali protease, (c) a nonionic surfactant and water and having a pH of ≥9 into contact with a medical appliance to which protein stains derived from blood or the like are fixed.
