PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion composition improved in the compatibility of a polyolefinic aqueous dispersion and an aqueous resin.SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion comprises a dispersion obtained by dispersing a block copolymer (C) constituted of a polymer block (A) consisting mainly of an olefinic monomer unit and a polymer block (B) composed of 2 to 40 mol% of a vinylic monomer unit having a carboxyl group and 60 to 98 mol% of another vinylic monomer unit copolymerizable with the former vinylic monomer, in an aqueous solution of a basic substance of ≥0.05 equivalent with respect to the carboxyl group.
