PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sheet thickness in a joint in a longitudinal wall and to simplify a mold in a method for molding a multi-color molded article having the longitudinal wall in a product peripheral part and its molding apparatus.SOLUTION: The molding apparatus 40 includes: molding upper and lower molds 50 and 60 which can perform mold clamping and mold opening; a partition plate 70 partitioning a cavity C; and a cylinder 80 driving the partition plate 70. The divided structure of a partition plate 70A for a general part corresponding to a product general part 10a and a partition plate 70B for a longitudinal wall corresponding to the longitudinal wall 10b is adopted. By setting each driving direction in the diagonal direction, the joining area between both resin moldings 20 and 30 is secured to be large. Since the overlapping in the longitudinal direction of the partition plates 70A and 70B is prevented when they retreat, an undercut part is not formed.
