PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for assembling a rotating machine.SOLUTION: A blade fitting mechanism (174) for a rotating machine (100) is at least partially formed inside of a rotating element. The rotating machine includes the rotating element (110) having the axial center line (111). The blade fitting mechanism forms a first dovetail slot (232) forming an axial length (SL1) parallel to the axial center line. The blade fitting mechanism also forms a second dovetail slot (234) forming a second axial length (SL2) parallel to the axial center line. The first axial length is greater than the second axial length, and at least a portion of the second dovetail slot is extended, across at least a portion of the first dovetail slot. |
