PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic filter device which effectively carries out filtration treatment of a liquid to be treated and cleaning treatment of a filter, and which achieves the increment of the filtration flow volume and the improvement of the filtration capacity at the same time.SOLUTION: The magnetic filter includes: a magnetic filter part 10 which filtrates grinding metal powders mixed in the used coolant C'; a magnetic field applying part 11 which applies a magnetic field to the magnetic filter part 10; and a liquid treatment part 12 which introduces and exhausts the coolant C' into/from the magnetic filter part 10. It is so constituted that in the filtration treatment process of the used coolant C', a magnetic field is applied to the magnetic filter part 10 by the magnetic field applying part 11; while in the cleaning process of the magnetic filter part 10, the applied magnetic field of the magnetic filter part 10 is released by the magnetic field applying part 11. Thereby, the filtration treatment of the used coolant C' and the cleaning treatment of the filter is effectively carried out respectively, and the increment of the filtration flow volume and the improvement of the filtration capacity can be achieved at the same time. |
