PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password input system and method using an alphanumeric matrix that can prevent keylogging attacks and shoulder surfing attacks.SOLUTION: The password input system includes the alphanumeric matrix having characters arranged in matrix shape and receiving the input of a password of n digits, and a password input confirmation module for confirming the password. Password confirmation of the password input confirmation module is performed by confirming the character (the first character) forming the password, through the input of the character (the second character) separated by a fixed distance from the character (the first character) forming the password in the alphanumeric matrix.
