PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adaptively correcting the amount of crosstalk even under the state that an optical condition, such as a lens to be used, is unknown.SOLUTION: From the output signal of an image capturing element wherein color coding including a white pixel is used, the relative change of the crosstalk amount is calculated on the basis of a ratio between the total sum of the signal amount of each RGB pixel and the signal amount of white. Then, using a relational expression between the previously obtained crosstalk correction coefficient and the crosstalk amount, a crosstalk correction coefficient corresponding to the current crosstalk amount is calculated, and signals of a correction target pixel are corrected by subtracting a percentage of the signals of an adjacent pixel as a crosstalk amount from the signals of the correction target pixel. |
