PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump having a short axial direction length by dispensing with a side plate provided in a housing.SOLUTION: A communication groove 38 is formed at the outer surface 4c of a rear housing 4 for the communication of a communication hole 36 and a discharge port 33. The opening of the communication groove 38 is closed with a mounting surface 1b of a control valve case 1a. A back pressure introducing path is formed with the communication groove 38 and the mounting surface 1b of the control valve case 1a for the communication of the communication hole 36 and a discharge opening 34 between the rear housing 4 and the control valve case 1a, that is, outside a housing 2. |
