PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanate nanorod having high versatility, moderate particle size (major axis length) and a moderate ratio of (the major axis length)/(the minor axis length) and a method for producing the titanic acid nanorod.SOLUTION: The titanate nanorod is composed of primary particles having 30-1,000 nm major axis length and 3-20 ratio of (the major axis length)/(the minor axis length). The method for producing the titanate nanorod includes a solvent substitution step of substituting a solvent for water of an aqueous dispersion liquid of a titanate nanosheet. |
