PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image removing device configured so that wear of a peeling member and a cleaning member are suppressed and an image formation substance transferred to the peeling member is efficiently transferred to the cleaning member, and to provide an image forming and removing system having the image removing device.SOLUTION: The image removing device 100 includes a peeling means for thermally transferring a thermoplastic image formation substance to a peeling roller 102 from a re-usable recorded material R while conveying the peeling roller 102; a cleaning means for transferring the thermoplastic image formation substance, thermally transferred to the peeling roller 102, to the cleaning roller 105 by sliding the cleaning roller 105 and peeling roller 102 against each other while heating the cleaning roller 105 and conveying it; sensors 111 and 113 for detecting the operating state of the peeling roller 102; and a control means for controlling the peripheral speed of the peeling roller 102. |
