PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a rotary step of a wheelchair, and a method for regulating the rotation torque of the step.SOLUTION: A torque regulating part made of an elastic material is disposed in a pivotally attached part of the step, and a partially notched fitting hole having a curved pressure contact surface is formed in the torque regulating part. A support rod is inserted into the partially notched fitting hole, and a projecting piece is made to project from the periphery of a notched part of the partially notched fitting hole. A male screw is disposed in the projecting piece, and the partially notched fitting hole is contracted or expanded by advancing/retracting the male screw to increase/reduce the rotation torque when the step is rotated. |
