PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program information system which can operate an AV appliance of an opposite home during a call by a cellular phone or the like.SOLUTION: In the program information system, a first cellular phone obtains program specific information specifying a broadcasting program being presently received by a first receiver from the first receiver, and transmits the obtained program specific information to the cellular phone of a call opposite party when a user calls by the first cellular phone and a second one. The second cellular phone of the call opposite party receives the broadcasting program specified on the basis of the received program specific information by a second receiver. |
