PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter circuit capable of passing a broadband signal, and to provide a filtering method and a computer program. SOLUTION: A CIC filter 100a as a filtering circuit comprises: an imperfect integrator 150 for filtering an inputted signal; a decimator 134 for thinning out the output of the imperfect integrator 150 for extraction; and an imperfect comb-type filter 160 for filtering the output of the decimator 134 to suppress noise. As a result, the CIC filter 100a can pass a broadband signal, such as an UWB and a radio LAN, and can restrain the size of the filter circuit and power consumption. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
