PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television signal processing apparatus for adjusting a display state of a video image in response to a reception state without acquiring an AGC signal or the like other than a composite video signal from a television signal receiver. SOLUTION: The television signal processing apparatus 200 for receiving the input of the composite video signal from the television signal receiver 100 includes: a PLL circuit 32 for generating a clock signal synchronously with a synchronizing signal on the basis of a phase difference between the synchronizing signal separated from the composite video signal and a frequency-divided system clock; and a video signal adjustment section for adjusting the video signal separated from the composite video signal.
