<p>Disclosed is a solid-liquid separation device which is capable of adequately and efficiently obtaining supernatant water. Specifically disclosed is a solid-liquid separation device which is provided with a solid-liquid separation tank having a solid-liquid separation area in which supernatant water, the content rate of sludge of which is less than that of raw water made by containing sludge, and sludge concentrated water, the content rate of the sludge of which is more than that of the raw water are generated by gravity settling from the raw water, wherein a distributor for distributing and supplying the raw water to the solid-liquid separation area is provided below the liquid level of the solid-liquid separation tank, and a transport tank for transporting the supplied raw water to the distributor is provided on the upper part of the distributor. The solid-liquid separation device is configured in such a manner that the raw water supplied into the transport tank is transported while falling within the transport tank, and that the raw water falls within the transport tank while being pressed to the inner peripheral surface of the transport tank by at least either centrifugal force or gravity.</p> |
