PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in the configuration in which ozone is efficiently discharged using an exhaust duct provided with an exhaust opening in a side of a charger, charging irons generated by corona discharge and floating near a charging device float in the part where the exhaust duct and a photoreceptor drum face each other, with the result that the ions covers an electrostatic image formed on an image carrier by exposure, degrading image quality.SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a grounded conductive member is stuck to a part opposite the photoreceptor drum, of the exhaust duct. Thereby, floating ions are collected and image failure is prevented. |
