PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust or mist from adhering to a medium by directing a dot-forming face of the medium downward in the gravity direction when a strong electromagnetic wave is radiated.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection apparatus includes a head for ejecting, onto a medium, liquid to be cured by radiation of an electromagnetic wave, radiation parts 42a to 42d for preliminary curing, which radiates a first electromagnetic wave to dots formed on the medium by the liquid, and a radiation part 44 for regularly curing, which radiates, to the dots irradiated with the first electromagnetic wave, a second electromagnetic wave having a radiation intensity larger than that of the first electromagnetic wave. When the radiation part 44 for regular curing radiates the second electromagnetic wave, the dot-forming face of the medium is directed downward in the gravity direction. |
