PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the propagation of vibration to a supporting part.SOLUTION: A flexural-mode tuning-fork type crystal vibrator includes a base, a pair of vibrating arms extending from the base, and a pair of support arms extending from the base along the vibrating arms where the vibrating arms extend from the base inside the support arms provided in the pair, and the support arms have first concave portions in groove shapes to the overall width in the width direction. The support arms may be provided having the first concave portions at both principal surfaces of the vibrating arms at a predetermined interval without facing each other. |
