PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member which can reduce a frictional coefficient without generating adhesive wear in a sliding friction under a non-lubricating condition, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes the steps of: coating an uncured hardenable resin 12a on a surface of a sliding base material 11, stuffing a molding die 34 in which a plurality of hemispherical projections 34a are arranged at equal intervals to the uncured hardenable resin 12a, hardening the uncured hardenable resin 12a while keeping a condition that the molding die 34 is stuffed, forming a plurality of dimples on a surface of the hardenable resin by removing the molding die 34 from the hardenable resin, and coating a silver plating film on the surface of the hardenable resin in which the dimples are formed. |
