PURPOSE: A TFT LCD driver for reducing a size of a chip is provided to reduce the number of flipflops and a size of a chip by using a signal for dividing an external clock as a clock signal to drive a shift register. CONSTITUTION: A TFT LCD driver includes a shift register portion(310) and a latch clock signal generation portion(330). The shift register portion receives a shift clock signal for dividing an external clock as a clock and includes the first to the nth flipflops. The first to the nth flipflops have input terminals and output terminals which are serially connected to each other. The shift register portion receives a driving pulse signal as an input signal of the first flipflop in response to a shift clock signal. The latch clock signal generation portion generates the first to the 2nth latch clock signals by performing a logical operation for the first to the nth intermediate driving pulse signals of the first to the nth flipflops, the shift clock signal, and an inverse signal of the shift clock signal. |
