PURPOSE: A wireless communication network system with a function for reducing a current consumption, and operating method thereof are provided to minimize the power consumption caused by an oscillator by cutting off the power supply to the oscillator in a sleep mode. CONSTITUTION: A processor(56) outputs a switch-off signal in a sleep mode. In addition, the processor outputs a switch-on signal in an operating mode. According to the switch-off signal, a switch of a first regulator(53) cuts off the power supply of a power supply unit(51). In order to transmit and receive a wireless signal, the first regulator supplies the power of the power supply unit to a modem(57). In order to control the entire system, a second regulator(52) supplies the power of the power supply unit to the processor. |
