PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording position adjustment value correctly, even if a chart is placed in an inclined state on a document base when reading a recording position adjustment chart with a scanner.SOLUTION: A recording head ejecting ink includes: a recording control means for recording a recording position adjustment chart including a pattern to make adjustment of the recording position of the recording head; and a determining means for determining an adjustment value for adjusting the recording position based on the pattern data included in the image data with the recording position adjustment chart read therein. The recording position adjustment chart includes a mark for detecting an inclination in reading the recording position adjustment chart.
