摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient and economical machining by achieving compactification of a tool body of a cutting tool.SOLUTION: A cutting tool is configured as follows. A boring tool 12 is inserted to the tip of a tool body 1 rotated around the axis O. A slider 5 including a cutting edge 4C is provided on the outer periphery of the tip of the tool body 1 so as to be advanceable/retractable in a direction inclined to the axis O. A coupling member 3 is stored on the tip side of a mounting hole 1A at the rear end of the tool body 1 so as to advance/retract the slider 5. A driving shaft 9 is advanceable/retreatable in the axis O direction so as to allow the boring tool 12 to go in/out. The driving shaft 9 is inserted to the coupling member 3 contactably therewith from the rear-end side of the mounting hole 1A toward the tip side. An engaging claw 11 is protrudingly provided at the rear end of the coupling member 3. The engaging claw extends to the rear-end side in parallel to the axis O and is formed with each engaging protrusion 11A, protruding to the inner-peripheral side, at its rear end. Each engaging groove 9A for storing each engaging protrusion 11A is formed on the outer periphery of the driving shaft 9 so as to extend in the axis O direction. Each groove wall 9B on the tip side of each engaging groove 9A is contactable with each engaging protrusion 11A.
