PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming deice simple in a constitution for reducing an impact sound of fed paper when applying a resist thereto.SOLUTION: In the image forming device, paper fed one by one by a paper feed roller 11 is carried from a carrying roller pair 13 to a resist roller pair 15, and the paper whose front end abuts on the resist roller pair 15 is temporarily curved between guide plates 23, 24 arranged at both sides of a carrying passage. The guide plate 23 arranged at the downstream side of the carrying roller pair 13 in the carrying direction has a protruded portion 23a and a recessed portion 23b. The protruded portion 23a is protruded nearly on a normal line H of a nip of the carrying roller pair 13, and the recessed portion 23b is located at the upstream side of the protruded portion 23a in the carrying direction. |
