PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch capable of preventing constitution for removing a winding crown, together with a hand setting stem out of a watch movement from getting to a restraint factor for the size of dial, and a factor for impairing the design, for making the peripheral parts in a watch outer assembly appear thin. SOLUTION: A watch movement 13 is built in the watch outer assembly 12, provided with an outer case 21 of one piece structure manufactured to integrate a case bottom wall with a case barrel part 22 and formed with a tapered face on a peripheral part reverse face of the case 21. The hand set stem 31 having a stopper engaging part 32 and disconnectably connected to the movement 13 from its side is built in the outer assembly 12, to be movable along a direction that crosses the thickness direction of the assembly 12. The winding crown 35, connected to the hand setting stem 31, is provided in a barrel part 22 to be removable from its side. A stopper member 41 engaged disengageably with the engaging part 32 is built in the outer assembly 12. This watch is provided with engagement and disengagement operating body 45 that moves along the direction crossed with the thickness direction of the outer assembly 12, so as to interlock the member 41, and for disengageably engaging the member 41 with the engagement part 32, and the operation body 45 is provided in the case barrel part 22 being operable from the side of the case barrel part 22.
